SHORT CV
Current Position:
Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Siena, she teaches EU Political System and Social Policy. She is also a member of the teaching staff of the Master Programme in European Politics (MpIE – Siena) and of the PhD in Political Science – Comparative and European Politics. She is lecturer in the following courses: Institutions of the European Union; Regulation and Cohesion in the EU.
Previous Experiences:
Graduated in Sociology at the University of Rome in 1993.
PhD in Social Theory and Research (University of Rome, 1998).
Research assistant at POLITY – Observatory on Public Policies, Department of Sociology – University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
Since 2000, researcher in the pilot project promoted by the Italian Department of Public Administration on the Regulatory reform and the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA).
Current Interests:
Public policy analysis and European governance. She has worked on the Europeanisation of policy making in Italy, with special emphasis on the following fields: Common fisheries policy, Cohesion policy and structural funds, Environmental policy. Her current projects deal with regulatory reform, participatory law making and impact assessment in the European Union.
